annnnnd my 2012 goals. So god damn excited.
1. $10,000 total in savings by December
2. run the art museum steps
3. 10k, half marathon and the broad street run
4. attempt a stable, monogamous relationship if the opportunity comes up
5. actually bike all the way to work
6. get the top of my other foot tattooed
7. consider a better paying job or volunteer to do more at the current one.
8. work more on making my home look "adult"
9. master seamless flirting
10. mend or end friendships in limbo, stop avoiding the confrontation
11. go for a tooth cleaning, get shit fixed, discuss wisdom teeth options
12. work on a healthy morning routine, possibly jog in the am
13. keep credit card balances at zero
14. buy good quality boots, no more $50 boots each season that fall apart
15. find a new hobby
16. learn more card games, demand everyone play
17. visit someone new in a city I've never been to (Nicole in Utah perhaps??)
18. set up my 401k (holla look who missed the open benefits window like a fool...again. end of 2012)
19. have less hate for the internet, possibly just be more positive in general
20. make more gifts
21. walk the dog at least 2 miles a day
22. stop letting other people's negative feelings effect me.
23. try rock climbing, belly dancing, ballet and some sort of combat sport (boxing? ladies tai kwan do?). go to more pole dancing classes.
24. work on better basic training w/ Elvis and more dog socialization.
25. send a postcard in to postsecret, send more postcards to friends.
26. eat more veggies+fruit (learn to stir fry), cook more in general
27. get a smart phone, actually track workouts properly, don't become obsessed with it.
28. go on more weekend roadtrips (ahem Siobhan) to new places
29. read a new book a month
30. get a proper haircut
31. buy a helmet and a bike I love
32. do the 100 pushup challenge and 200 crunch challenge
33. sleep more, late night internet less. (refer to this)
34. buy something luxurious I want but don't need to celebrate completing the half marathon.
35. continue to (try to) be less insane over my body and be a good example instead.
